Early Life and Career
WEB Davante Lavell Adams was born on December 24, 1992, in Palo Alto, California. He attended Palo Alto High School, where he starred as a wide receiver and defensive back. Adams committed to Fresno State University to play college football.
College Career at Fresno State
Adams had a successful college career at Fresno State. As a sophomore in 2012, he led the Bulldogs in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. In his junior season, he set school records for single-season receptions (131) and receiving yards (1,719). Adams was named a consensus All-American and won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver.
NFL Career
Green Bay Packers (2014-2021)
Adams was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He quickly became a key target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017. In 2020, Adams led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (18) and was named a First-Team All-Pro.
Las Vegas Raiders (2022-Present)
In March 2022, Adams signed a five-year, $141.25 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. He is expected to be a key part of the Raiders' offense alongside quarterback Derek Carr.
