Swiatek Cruises to 20-Match Winning Streak at Roland-Garros
World number one Iga Swiatek continued her dominance at the French Open, defeating US Open champion Coco Gauff 6-2 6-4 in the fourth round on Saturday. The victory extends Swiatek's winning streak in Paris to 20 matches, tying her with Justine Henin for the longest streak at the tournament in the 21st century.
Swiatek, who has won the last two Grand Slam titles, displayed her exceptional form throughout the match, making just 14 unforced errors compared to Gauff's 34. The Polish star broke Gauff's serve four times, while only dropping her own once.
The victory sets up a quarter-final clash for Swiatek against fellow top-10 player Cori Gauff, who defeated Madison Keys in straight sets on Friday.
